Island Jive is a family affair, and is the studio of internationally known artist Al McWhite.  Al is recognized for creating bright, colorful island inspired art that infuses fun and high energy, and much of his work depicts his passion for surfing.  His wife Tara is his business partner, and she brings the feminine side to the design library.  The couple have four beautiful sons, two of whom are also quite talented (the two youngest children's' artistic ability are yet to be determined!).

We are excited to present the Island Jive shop to all of our fans, both new fans and those that have followed us since the beginning of our journey!  We have been fortunate to partner with great companies who license our artwork on many products, however we also wanted to offer something special to our devoted collectors.  All of the items on our site are exclusive to our studio store, and many of the designs are only available here on our hand picked products!  It's our 21st century homage to limited edition, one of a kind wares.  We fell in love with everything that we selected for our store and no two items will be exactly alike, as they are all made to order.  Also, this is the only place that you can purchase Al McWhite prints, including many original paintings and Al's favorite photographic images that he's captured over the years.
